Is what I am experiencing maladaptive day dreaming or am I crazy??

Whenever I read/see a movie and or book I always come up with the possibilities of what would have happened if so & so did so & so. And that leads me into always searching for a song for that scenario that I have in my mind.

When I play the song I walk around the room and began my day dreaming. If a scene contains the characters running I instead RUN around the room. Sometimes I think of those characters in an edit and well, this is a bit embarrassing, but I sometimes unknowingly do what the character does in the imaginary edit while I walk/run around the room.

Sometimes I even imagine those characters in a 'gacha react' room.

Is this maladaptive daydreaming or just a weird thing that just, idk, happens?
