Plans for my blog

not sure if i should change this blog, or make a seperate blog just for this. most likely going to change it instead since it'll be a nightmare to swap accounts every time i have a new post.

I might turn this blog into more of a photography-centric page. I've recently edited some photos for my friend Lucas (Working Title) since he's incredible at photography, and it's gotten me back into photography myself. 

I wanted to know if yall would be interested in a more nature-based photography blog from now on? Obviously I'll sprinkle some animals in every so often, or atleast while plants are the most abundant thing for me to photograph.

I was thinking each post would cover the name of the animal/plant, common and scientific, then maybe have some facts or general info on it in the bio, and a small drawing of the animal as well. Grah!! Actually squealing rn. This is so exciting.

But I really wanna start posting some of this stuff, and maybe even edits of other friends works (with proper credit, since they are the original owner and PHOTOGRAPHER of the pics.)

I might even open a request board where people can send in their own photos for me to edit and post for them? Idk. If I do this, it'll be formatted just like my other posts, with names, facts, and generally anything cool/interesting about it.

and if i ever open a photo editing service thing, it'll prolly be free since its just something i do for fun anyways. 

Dms are open on discord, mowtowench, for anyone who wants to maybe show photos they took or discuss anything nature related with me. Im a pretty good listener too, so i always welcome infodumps when it comes to nature. especially fish or dinosaurs.

but yeah!! fact and photo posts are gonna be my main thing on here from now on!! if i get enough support i might start selling prints of my favourite/best/most popular photos/drawings to help afford either more gear, or most likely a conservation charity. 

i wont ONLY post those though. since i live on a farm, i'd actually love to make posts explaining different things we do around here, stuff like how we handle our livestock, fields, and anything else that comes to mind.

honestly, i really love talking about and learning about anything in nature. fish, birds, mammals, bugs, reptiles, trees, EVERYTHING!! if theres anything you'd want to see me talk about, ask me to cover it! i tend to take photos of things that might be common or "boring" to me at first, or i might think that nobody wants to read about it, so i just keep the photos in a stash until someone mentions it. if i dont have a photo, provide me with some! 

Im always looking for new mutuals that like nature and photography, and I'd love to grow a community of people who share photos or infodump on a thing they like. 

Most important thing about my blog, though; Although my posts will be mainly informative, it's still my personal page, and Im still in college every day. I'll do my best to stick to nature and photography content, but if i maybe dont post for a day or two, or maybe i post something entirely different, please dont complain. Im still a person, and I still have priorities above a blog page. Im running this blog as a way to regulate my feelings throughout the day, and I plan on keeping this mentality when approaching almost any social that I might post on (which right now, is just SpaceHey and a small nature photography discord server. not sure if i'll ever join another social site, but theres always a possibility.) 

Photos I take at the moment are all either on my Ipad or my phone since i dont have a camera yet, but i hope to get a good one for my birthday this year <3

gonna go have a few hour long tours in december during my birthday week, my local aquarium, local natural history museum, and (possibly) my personal favourite bird sanctuary. cant contain my excitement about it. 4-5 hours each purely for photography and information intake. 

I could go on forever really, but this post is WAYYY too long already. thank you for reading <3
