chocolate chip mug cake ˙✧˖°🥨 ༘ ⋆｡˚

hey, guys! i was wondering what would be a good first blog, and i figured sharing a mug cake recipe i found a while ago would be nice, so here we go.

i love this recipe, the cake has kind of a cookie-like texture, it's super easy, and tastes like chocolate chip cookies in a form a mug cake!

˙✧˖°🤎༘ ⋆｡˚ ingredients 

☆ 1 tablespoon of softened butter

☆ 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

☆ 1 tablespoon of white sugar

☆ 1 egg yolk

☆ 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

☆ 2 tablespoons of flour

☆ 1 tablespoon of cocoa (optional)

☆ chocolate chips

˙✧˖°☕️ ༘ ⋆｡˚ steps

i. put the butter in a mug and microwave it for ~20 seconds. mix it until it's fully melted

ii. add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and white sugar. mix it

iii. add egg yolk and vanilla extract. mix it

iv. now add 2 tablespoons of flour, you can also add a tablespoon of cocoa alongside it, if you want it to have chocolate flavour 

v. after you mix in the flour, you can add chocolate chips and mix it once again. then you can also add some more chocolate chips on top

vi. microwave it for ~1 minute

vii. let it cool down for a few minutes
