Theater yayyyy

Today, I had to write and present a monologue. The teacher gave us full freedom over the type of monologue, theme, setting, ect. And, since I was listening to The Phantom Of The Opera earlier that day, I wrote about a frustrated opera singer. The singer was called Ameri, but I was close to calling her Christine (ifykyk). Anyways, I wrote it a few weeks back and today, I presented it. It was a humorous type of thing. I added a lot of improv since it was by memory. I had a lot of fun! I went first, yay! People laughed and enjoyed my speech, yay! Here are some deets about the monologue:  

It's about a girl named Ameri who is an opera singer. She's frustrated over the fact that all the other actors get chosen for big roles when she doesn't. She talks about the toxic environment of opera singers and stuff.
