it's 9:05pm. this week's been ok so far. nothing special tbh.

apparently my friend g and her boyfriend are trying to set me up with the guy i met on halloween. which is sweet of them, but like?? i don't know what to think. he spent lunch with me today though and we chatted a bit so that was cool.

we're always watching movies in my advisory instead of doing the surveys and school videos we're supposed to. today we started watching fried green tomatoes. it's probably one of my favorite movies, i used to watch it with my mom every once in a while.

monday was pretty alright. no school so r and some of our mutual friends came over to my house and we went into the forest to... basically just play war. there were two teams of two and we had two nerf guns and a variety of melee weapons [sticks, and metal rods of questionable origin]. r and i won most rounds with our amazing strategy and tactical skill. it was fun!! and ironically really fitting for veteran's day 😭

i'm thinking of going for a picnic on saturday. i could bring a sandwich and maybe some tea. read by the lake. it's getting to be really cold, though so that might not pan out very well. i guess going downtown like i usually do would be a better idea.

this week also includes showings of the school play, so i'm probably going to the one tomorrow night. i think we're doing one called rumours? it sounds fun based on the little promo videos that the cast have posted on the school instagram accounts.

speaking of theater, i'm probably also going to try out for the musical which it comes time for that to happen... last year when we did beauty and the beast i did, but i didn't get a part because i was uncoordinated and couldn't dance :( i do think i've improved a little bit though, so maybe i will this year!

oh and my ex boyfriend came up to me this morning... to ask me for a chance to be friends. why would that ever be a good idea? there's exactly one ex of mine that i stayed friends with, and even that isn't going very well. so of course not. what an absolute cretin.
