just finished a test page for my "manga"... it's not bad?? but i dunno, kinda feeling meh about it. thinking of switching up the style to something wayyy simpler. i'm lazy af rn, and i really want to get this thing done by the end of next year (uni is literally draining me dry). what do u guys think? does it look okay? open to any brutal critiques—don't hold back, i wanna know if i'm on the right track

Yeah I think you would benefit from a simpler style, While i love how this looks it can be quite busy on the eyes and I would reserve it for dramatic effect in Panels you want people to really remember. Like a big reveal or plot twist :3 But your panel placement and bubble placement looks good!
