hellenic 🙀

okay so as ive talked about a recent blog, ive recently starting seeing what i believe to be "signs" that i should get into hellenism. i didnt know how to go about it before, but now ive watched a 5 part deep dive series explaining the belief and i find myself curious and fascinated with it and would like to become a devotee of the god apollo, who has given me signs that i would be  work with him. today i set up an altar with a candle and dice and reference to be able to communicate with apollo, (this was before the 5 part series about him and hellenism), so i was unsure how to speak with him properly and how the whole thing should go, i talked to him about my day and asked a couple of questions, and one of them i asked if he accepted me and he told me i should research the belief more first, so thats when i watched the deep dive. i am now more educated and engaged with becoming hellenic and i am happy with what i know, i have a note on my phone about what offerings i could give, what apollo is associated with and myths about him, and how i can devote him in my daily life, whether that be through prayers or actions i do throughout the day that i can associate with him and following his beliefs. i wrote a poem for him and will offer it to him tomorrow, since poetry is one of the things that apollo is associated with. i find that we have alot in common and he is one to be understanding of my mistakes, and i will strive to improve on them and better myself and become devoted to apollo.
