or if you're in a restaurant, use "can" instead of "may"
I mean yeah... But like with friends and the water isn't yours...

well, I always say it like that.
Even in my native language, I don't use a slang 2 ask 4 water...
¿Or do you mean using their bathroom?
¿Or asking 4 a sip from their bottle of water??

so like when you're with a friend and you ask to take a sip from their water bottle. How do you ask? "Waterfall" or "Air sip".
