Donnie ROTTMNT autistic representation

I love the Autistic representation in ROTTMNT with Donnie. I literally kin him so much (as an Autistic person) and i did before i even got diagnosed. Him getting confirmed to be autistic by the shows creators is what make me start trying to get evaluated for autism in the first place. He has Low empathy but is still shown to have compassion (when people write autistic characters they tend to mistake the two), he is shown to stim and have sensory issues (he’s literally my twin omg). He is shown to dislike physical touch unless initiated by him (literally me), he speaks in a monotone-ish voice most of the time (once again, me) tends to be blunt, he’s sarcastic, and often takes things at face value. He has a special interest but he us shown to be more than just his special interest. And most importantly, his autistic traits aren’t portrayed as a nuisance. His brothers treat him the same as they do anyone else, they understand his sensory issues, they dont judge him when he does have a meltdown, they just treat him like hes normal. 

(Also his whole color scheme is purple and my favorite color is purple)

In conclusion, Donnie is amazing autistic representation and i love him.
