Tips on getting emo hair???

So my parents said I'm allowed to get my hair cut emo... I'm thinking something like

Love Pinterest for that 

Anyway

1- how do you know if you'd look good with emo hair? Obviously I don't wish to post my face here, but is there a specific face shape that would make you look particularly bad with it I guess?

2- what do I say to my hairdresser to get this cut? I'll show a few references, but I'm worried most hairdressers won't know how to cut emo hair.... So what should I say? 

I'm worried to get my hair cut this way, as I don't want to get bullied or whatever, but I have wanted this hair for over 4 years now...
