I say 'forbidden' as they are never given much radio airplay, except I play them, find them very moving, emotional, mystical, spiritual and meaningful. From my ART-fully Oriented Rock playlist:
"People On The Street" by String Driven Thing, a Scottish folk rock band, formed in Glasgow in 1967.
"Moonshot" was originally written by Buffy Ste. Marie, and is performed here by Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips. I love this video someone did, thus am using this instead of the official version.
I can't get enough of this new Mercury Rev album. A couple of selections: "Ancient Love" - sounds like a Rumi poem put to music.
Mercury Rev: "A Bird of No Address"
