when we were young fest 10/20/24 - my overview!

i attended wwwy day 2 last month and it was the BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFEEE!!!!!!! all my pics n vids are on mu phone but im def gonna post them here especially mcr cuz omgg my friend got such good vids. i flew from houston to vegas (first time flying without an Adult Figure)

i still cant believe i even SAW mcr live i never thought i was gonna be able to do that. during their reunion tour i was broke and like 14 (lol) and so upset abut i dont even wanna talk about how hard i cried. im 19 now and finally saw one of my fav bands since i was 11 #itwasneveraphase

my wwwy lineup

• alesana - i was a casual listener, my sister is def the bigger fan, but holy god SOO AMAZING LIVE!! it was like 11am and they were one of the first shows of the entire fest but they rly brought the energy thatd be kickin thru me for the rest of the day. kinda crazy that twink drummer got kicked out for grooming a minor i think (?) not long after. me n my friend kept commenting on his booty shorts

• millionaires - one of the most fun shows of the whole day!! the crowd was filled with cute scene girlz i shouldve gotten everyones insta </3 meredith was wearing the prettiest dress but we looked it up later and its dollskill unfortunately </3 we left the set like 2 songs early to go to purple stage to see mayday parade 

• mayday parade - i never rly listened to mayday parade, i literally only knew jamie all over and miserable at best from their set. they were good but i was pissy atp cuz i was hungry and it was almost 1pm so the sun was Beating down on me. they put on a good show but i couldnt rly enjoy it bc of that. right after their set we went to eat and sit under some shade so i was fine again :3

• 3oh!3 - kind of an underrated band of my childhood, seeing them live lowk awoke something in me. those 2 old ass white men had no business being so dilfy. when i was like 8 with unrestricted internet access i would watch so many monster high amvs to starstrukk or donttrustme n my first kiss so hearing all those songs live.... #itsover i also heard my fav song by them IMNOTYOURBOYFRIENDBABY OMFGGG FUCK my entire vid all u can hear is me screaminf the lyrics 

• cobra starship - so much fun live but tbh thats exactly what i was expecting from them, i cant believe it was one of their first performances as a band since theyve been kinda on hiatus for idek how long, bc they did so good!! when patrick stump from fob came out for kiss my sass OMGG i screamed SO LOUD that man is so finee and tbh he ate up gabe saporta so hard #sorrynotsorry. but omfg why did they bring out tara yummy for good girls go bad like huhh xd ppl keep asking me if she sang good but tbh i dont think her mic was even on LMAOO

• (kind of) simple plan - after cobra my friend got hungry so we left to go get something to eat, and while we ate we kinda just sat outside the stage area listening to simple plan's set. one thing ab wwwy the audio was great!! at least for purple and pink stages and mr. simple plan's mic was def on. hearing whats new scooby doo was so silly i loved it

• taking back sunday - imma be fr i wasnt rly paying too much attention during this set cuz me and my friend (plus some new friends we made) spent the entire time finding open spots in the crowd to squeeze thru and get closer to the stage. i aboslutely hate when ppl push to get closer to barricade so i made sure Not to do that but,, it was a literal once in a lifetime event (at least for me) so if i see empty space im gonna make my way to it!! #sueme naw but i tried to stay respectful and luckily no one rly seemed to mind that we were pushing forward, prolly cuz we're both girls and im 5'3 lol. ANYWAY i thought taking back sunday was decent live but looking back on the videos of the performance they rly.. werent... at least they were fun! adam was prolly on something he was lowk tweakin on stage but at least it was enteraining. idk the drummers name but he was soo fine

• the used - so atp me n my friend decided we were gonna stay in the purple/pink stage area for the rest of the night, cuz we were so far into the crowd and an influx of ppl showed up waiting for ptv's set. the crowd was so condensed we were like wtv we'll stay here. the used was SOO good live im not the biggest fan but i loved the energy they brought, plus i loved the crowd. idk i rly dont have too much to say other than they were Rly good performers. mr. mccracker so sassy

• pierce the veil - OMFGGG r u even mexican if ur not a ptv fan. ive seen them live once before but obvi it could not compare to their fest performance like holy shit. i finally saw bulls in the bronx live (they didnt perform it at my show </3) the folklorico dancers were so beautiful and enchanting to watch i genuinelly cried a little bit. and i heard im low on gas MY FAV SONG OFF THE ALBUM!!! ANDDD i heard biblically accurate king for a day with kellin on stage too. i think i peaked in that moment. someone in a spiderman suit was crowdsurfing almost their entire set #soreal ptv Def took the most energy out of the compared to any of the other sets, i was screaming words and jumping so much but i was also getting pushed to all hell. the other ptv show i saw, the crowd was also rly pushy, so at least ptv fans r consistent! kudos for dat

• jimmy eat world - much needed more chill set after losing my voice and atp mu feet were starting to kill me. i was wearing knee high converse w cushion insoles and they were rly comfy and it surprisingly took a rly long time for my feet to even start hurting. mr. jimmy eat world himself was soo dilf i think his bday was just the other day happy belated birthday jim i hope u got a world to eat. id seen them live once before as an opener for fall out boy but i LOVED hearing sweetness live again!!!!! i was spinning free woahhohhohhhahhh at one point i asked the ppl behind me if they minded if i sat for a sec cuz my feet were starting to Rly hurt and lemme tell u when ur on the ground u feel that bass in ur Whole Body. but yes jimmy eat world was the calm before the storm bc.. adtr... jesus

• a day to remember - THE CROWD KILLED ME. like the SECOND the first song started there was a major crowd surge forward and i was crushed btwn 2 rly sweaty guys.. like so sweaty their shirts were wet #ew. the show itself was rly good tho, i never purposely listened to adtr so it was a nice surprise hearing some songs i like like omg i didnt know it was them! i lost count of how many crowdsurfers fell on my head during this set i think i was concussed by the end of the night 

• fall out boy - 5th times the charm!! yes ive seen fall out boy now a grand total of 5 times, to some it seems like a lot but fob fans r crazy about following them to damn near every show. longest set of the night some ppl were getting mad lol but as per usual they put on an AMAZING performance!! second time ive heard headfirst slide into cooperstown on a bad bet live, and i will not rest easy until ive heard it 50 more times. that song is so godly. they brought out travie mccoy (!!) to do cupids chokehold I LOST MY MINDD!! travies soo fine and i love that song so much omfgg. out of all the fall out boy performances ive seen this was by far the sexiest patrick has ever looked. his hair was so long and his beard and his VOICE omfg my knees were so weak

• my chemical romance - just kill me now i will never reach the same peak that. i did when i finally saw mcr live. fuk. i cried during disenchanted and i dont love you those are some of my favorite songs off the black parade. also wttbp is a good song but famous last words should be the defining song off the album imo. awake and unafraid, asleep or dead. yes cancer live is just as devastating as you'd imagine. gerard looked so good he was giving olive garden waiter but in a good way. frank looked good, ray was so fcking hot like jesus christ i was almost not even looking at gerard throghout the show. mikey looked good but i could nott with his hair he looked like the poop emoji </3 i may jus be a hater tho cuz im anti petekey #peterick4life they performed na na na and helena for the encore, im not the biggest fan of na na na regularly but it HITS LIVEEE I WAS TURNT!! and helena is helena DUH!! i was singing helena throughout the day so i like to think i manifested it. anyway they were absolutely phenomenal and gerard was so cute when he'd speak to the crowd lol i think his voice has gotten higher pitched over the years :3
