(10/6/2015) The Enemy Within is an old Star Trek Episode from the first season. It was the 5th episode in the series. — The beginning of my series of battles with 2D conceptual thinking and binary logic as a logical fallacy. In this introspective dive I reflect on this classic Star Trek episode where a transporter accident splits Captain Kirk into his "good" and "evil" halves. Inspired by the episode, I contemplate the complexity of human nature, exploring the blurred lines between good and evil, yes vs no, needs vs wants, and the internal struggles that shape us. With candid thoughts on balance, self-awareness, and societal expectations, I attempt to offer a thinking perspective on what it means to reconcile our inner selves in pursuit of authenticity and happiness.
