Books to read and the need for more recommendations!!!

    Recently I’ve been more focused on reading. Project 2025 published a massive list of books that are in the process of being banned. At this point I’m pretty numb to the fear of this bullshit project, though it is not really numbness, maybe it is just exhaustion because I cannot relax. So many precious pieces of history and messaging are being suppressed and god it is just nauseating. 

     Anyways, I’ve picked out a handful of books to start reading the stories I haven’t already. I was already reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, but I decided to pause my reading for a while since I can’t properly read the copy I checked out from my school library. My dyslexia has been getting much more noticeable and my ADHD is seriously making it hard to continue my usual pace for schoolwork [and paying attention to reading meow!!]. 

    I was looking for possible solutions or just things to help my concentration, and I ended up looking for kindles (and maybe ADHD medication LOLOL). I was actually so shocked cuz these small things are hundreds of dollars….?  I ended up being mildly delusional and praying for one of these things to magically fall into my life if it would truly help my mood/concentration. 

   You may be thinking, “Grayson, you’re so silly! Why would you manifest like that knowing damn well your parents wouldn’t even get you a Kindle for a Christmas present.,” and I tell you, “well suck it ^_^!!!” This morning when I was trying to relax my friend Dora came over to hangout with me. I told her about all of this and she was like, “Omg I have a Kindle I never used that I got from a reading competition. Do you want it??” AND I WAS LIKE “OMG NO PLZ THATS SO EXPENSIVE DONT???” Dora is literally so sweet; shes bringing it over tomorrow TT_TT <3

    So! On this Kindle I’ve really wanted to continue reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and start reading: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Emma by Jane Austen, and The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy. PLZ DROP BOOK RECS!!!! I’ve really wanted to read more queer stories (especially mlm/nwlnw and trans mc stories <3)
