today is 11th of November, 11/11 isn't that a beautiful date, feels like a sweet orange, a good one? I mean, it makes sense, it feels like today is a nice day, though everyday starts nice right? there is this specific tiktok trend about it, people saying thursday, 7x7 being 49 all 'feels' the same, a particular association of various seemingly unrelated but somehow related entities clumped together that just simply feels right together, I probably also feel the same about that first raindrop and friday (searched up a bit and apparently its a real thing, called 'apophenia') so it is defined as, i am quotting this from wikipedia, (the best source of information! I am so lazy) it is the tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things.[1], So if you read down, you find something hilarious and concerning, that is, this term was coined by a german psychiatrist, Klaus Conard and he described it as a part of early delusional thoughts, 'self-referential over-interpretations of actual sensory perceptions, as opposed to hallucinations'. That is interesting. So it is a commonplace effect by the brain, basically the brain making connections between things that happen regularly, even if these things are not 'logically' related. if im not wrong that is. However in extreme cases, it can be a sign of psychiatric dysfunction like schizophrenia, that was the part I found funny, I am indeed an insensitive prick. Anyways, the question still stands Why? Pattern recognition. Because we are all searching for THE meaning, hopefully someone finds it, soon.' I had this 2 hour rambling with my dear friend yesterday about all sorts of things i guess, little bit of everything I guess, she is in the other side of the globe! imagine being chained by time zones??? still we talked about more than 120 minutes, that is truly commendable, i feel proud. But most importantly I love long talks about random things. She talked about this web design homework in c# that she had to submit in this semester and she is utterly and entirely clueless about, mate I hope you pass, she also talked about a recent period action/fantasy(?) movie she watched that week, and told me the entire plot, the thing is, I am not a huge fan of this particular genre, but the way she tells this story is so engaging and i begged her to spoil the whole thing, even then, i am planning to watch it. Also she talked about this interview she had for work and how terribly unprepared she was because she thought they'd reject her, however she got in!!! miracle worker. I love bread so much, carbohydrates. Soft breads to be specific and garlic breads. I could not just get enough of it. I love that it exists. I am so glad I am in a universe where bread exists. Infact, I am having one right now, while i am writing this, how fun! brioche. i feel so full and happy. Oh I love bread. Sometimes i feel like I do not appreciate these little moments, that are sort of fleeting, unnoticed that blends into the background, as if it always has been like that. Anyhow, i am also applying for a job, i feel pretty nervous thinking about, anxious and what not, hoping it'd be worth it. Love today.
