You should try the original Silent hill 2 before the remake imo, the games are actually p diff in how they play out! its really cool
i haven't played any silent hill game but god i wanna play it so bad, been watching other people play it tho

Pcsx2 works well on PC. if you got a powerful PC you could emulate it easily
