Ik i talk a lot about Nathan Prescott, but hes such an interesting written character.

In the game, we pick up on a lot about his character, especially when we see the pills he takes. When I looked up these meds, I realized the game creators used real ones - and many of them are for serious mental health conditions.

At first, I thought he might have schizophrenia, which led me to discover he could actually have psychosis - a condition where someone feels detached from reality. Remember the note from his therapist? “Nathan is becoming more and more disconnected from reality each day.”

Psychosis symptoms fit him well: muscle spasms (Drew calls him “Twitch”), anger, and hallucinations. And also the scene, where he shoots chloe…

Psychosis is often triggered by trauma or substance abuse, both of which Nathan has experienced. It’s possible that this is the root of his struggles.
