happy birthday to me ! well .. it isn't my birthday yet , but i think i should get to say it either way since — at the time i'm writing this — it's tomorrow :3c

every year for everyone's birthdays ( except for maybe most family members ) , we all pick out a theme and order stuff online to decorate the house

but , i decided that i wanted my birthday to be underwhelming as possible , and mostly accommodated to my comforts and preferences

no fancy themed birthday , only really specific-colored decorations ; one of my favorite comfort meals cooked by my dad aka pot roast and mashed potatoes ( and if he loves me enough — baked mac and cheese ) ; a cookie cake instead of a regular cake as well , my mom's friend from work is gonna be making it and adding the oreo buttercream frosting on top that i really liked and plans to give me a little container of it if she has leftover frosting

my grandma also prepared the room upstairs for me just in case it gets loud and overwhelming downstairs and i just don't wanna be there anymore since we're gonna have the party over at her house , and also because i'm noise sensitive and some family members are ... as loud as an olive garden waiting room , to say the least

but , anyways , i'm hoping that this birthday of mine will at least be better than the last one
