Making friends, no matter where, is never easy. But here on SpaceHey, at least that's what I do:
Look at the profile picture, if I like it, then go to the profile, if I like what I read, then send a friend request.
The rest happens all by itself. You don't have to have a deep conversation with everyone and fall around the person's neck with all your personal secrets. It takes time for real friendships to form anyway. I think that's the problem with today's social media, nobody has time anymore, time to let something grow, time to get to know something. Everyone always wants everything immediately and on the spot, preferably chewed up and ready to eat without having to make an effort.

Too young? I think I understand what you mean, but from my perspective I shouldn't be talking to anyone, because I'm easily twice your age, for example. But I get what you mean, teenage people are different to older people and yes you always worry about what others might think when an adult is talking to a teenager. A lot of people often read far too much into things that aren't there. I think it's always a trial and error thing. You can always sort things out afterwards, even if that sounds mean.

ya ! i dont mind like ppl who r much older than me since we r all adults still but i dont really feel like talking to ppl aged 13-14 for example .. and i feel like most of the users here r in that age range, not that its wrong but its kinda difficult looking for ppl 18 and over

i'm trying to figure out the same thing!! for a social media site it's awfully hard to find people (that aren't 13) to socialize with!!
