Cherrys guide to being scemo

I've been doing the scene/ emo style for a while. i started off emo but i started getting into scene later. I love the style and it makes me happy so heres a guide on how i do the scemo style!!

-Hair: Okayy so hair is one of the most recognisable parts of the style but its not 100% necessary. Also you can have curly scene hair, even afro scene hair, I've seen some people style the fringe with an afro.

If you have curly hair, you can straighten only the fringe, and keep the rest curly, because that looks super good

For the scene hair, you can look up scene hair cutting and styling tutoirals. the best one i seen was catastropiclarawrs short natural emos scene hair tutorial

-styling, i straighten all mine, swoop the fringe over, straighten it to the side across my forehead, and tease the shorter layers at the back and sides to make it poofier

Hair dye looks good too but natural emo hair is also awesome, i have natural brown hair but i sometimes dye it, i have dark brown hair but the dark red live hairdye did so well omg its so red. If u have dark hair, i recommend that one

-Scemo makeup: i do more emo makeup but if you add coloured eyeshadow it looks scene.

I use an eyeliner pencil under my eyes and kinda rub them to smudge it, mascara, black eyeshadow in the outer corner on my eye and red eyeshadow in the inner corner. I also use highlighter on my nose because i like how it looks, and lipgloss cause my lips are so dry

-Scemo clothes: okay i dress more casual emo, it doesnt have to be insane crazy accessorised. It can be if u want if thats what makes u happy tho! I usually wear skinny jeans, a band shirt (usually bring me the horizon) a red flannel, converse, my sleeping withs sirens necklace and bracelets. Usually i wear skinny jeans and a oversized shirt but I've seen people wear baggy jeans and a tight shirt too

some emo clothes i like are skinny jeans, band shirts, vans, converse, graphic shirts (i have an adventure time one and its super cute) 

you can use pretty basic clothes as scene clothes

ps. Its okay to wear baggy clothes too, I've seen lots of people wear them 

-Accessories: studded belts, bracelets, rubber bracelets, chains, clip on tails, chokers, hair extensions
