who am i

so i mentioned in my previous blog that i’ve been making music for a while. i didn’t really show my face and my personality a whole lot on social media, mostly because i just don’t like social media, but i’ve been thinking. would it be best for me to just be faceless as SC@R? i can either wear a mask or just have every pic i post of me have some insane shadows over my face so you don’t really know what i look like. kinda like my profile picture rn (it’s just a pic of me rn idk what it’ll be in the future). i know i want to really lean into the 90’s / 00’s style when it comes to not just the sound of my music but how i present it and myself. that’s part of the reason why i’m on here. i wanna use it as my main social media once i finish this last album for my other alias. but i also wanna have like my stuff on self burned CD’s, cassettes, maybe even vinyl. i’ve done it before but no one would buy it so i didn’t do it as much. but i think if i put some more personality behind it, people will be more interested. i can do a well polished CD, like in the jewel case and all, but doing it at home would be more interesting. same with cassettes. i can do that thankfully so i really do think i’m gonna focus on doing what artists did back then. anyways. rant over. if you’d ever be interested in hearing some of my other songs, maybe i’ll do a blog about it and post some links. i’m not super proud of about 90% of what i’ve made, hence the whole starting over thing. but anyways. thanks if you read this far.
