Should gyarus stick to one substyle?

The answer is...NO gyaru shouldn't HAVE to stick to one substyle for the rest of their life...

Whether you're baby gal still learning or retiring a style you've grown out of for a new style

changing ur substyle is perfectly fine!

Staying one way can be boring (Unless ur content with ur gyaru style then power to ya!).

I find it stifling when people say you should only stick to one substyle

Hell I catch myself wanting to buy pieces for hime kaji or Agejo hat I would go with my old school gal look!

Who knows you might find a substyle you prefer over the other!

I will say though REASEARCH!REASEARCH!!REASEARCH!!!

Respect the rules, get advice of from the people who have/or are doing said substyles you're trying out!!
