11/8/24 - First Post

Hello!

I just joined this site at a friend's request. It seemed interesting and reminds me of the "golden age" of the internet. Having been born in 2003, I didn't get online until just before I graduated elementary school. I can't say that I had a MySpace account, so it is pretty cool to have something similar now.

I think I need this weird return to the "old" internet. The level of stress I have, relating to politics and the state of the world in general, closely mirrors that casual terror I felt when I was younger. Plus, its nice to scroll a social media without advertisements shoved into my face whichever way I turn.

Regardless, I have never kept a blog before! I doubt anyone will actually read my posts, but regardless we all need to scream into the void sometimes. I plan on sharing my art, my dreams, and just my general thoughts.
