I've been noticing something 4 years and I lowkey need to say it. I cant sttaaaaaannnnnnnndddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd the batman fans on tiktok and lowkey everywhere. Cuz why does nobody understand nor read the comics??????? How are you a batman fan when U DON'T EVEN READDDDD THE COMICS AT ALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so tired of these fakeass fans. I can never have intelligent convos about DC without some non comic reader chiming in. The most they read is seeing a comic panel in an edit. Some actually think pit madness Jason is canon. Or that he called Tim a replacement (which my goat never did). I am so tired of thiissssss. And these absolutely terrible takes about DC. Don't even get me started on this mischaracterization of Damian Wayne, the constant drawing of Damian white with BLUE EYES (mind you he is Arab with green eyes), the ignoring of other characters that aren't the 4 main "Batboys", the mischaracterization of Talia Al Ghul from people who have only ever watched the animated movies, etc. They constantly mischaracterize the poc, ignore every other important character, and most of them know 2-3 batman villians max. Put down the fanfic, read a comic, and stop being wrong. Also when they read comics 9 times out of 10 its only new 52 or rebirth (some of the worst runs but I digress). Read the 90s comicsssssss. That is where batman is truly shaped. Batman Knightfall is so incredibly poignant but nooooooooo let's not read one of the MOST IMPORTANT RUNS EVER IN THE HISTORY OF BATMAN CUZ WE ARE STUUUUUUUPIDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!! I love batman so much. I just wish some people loved it like I do. Its prolly cuz of the tism but I don't find any other tism fans like me. Just casuals and losers who never touch comics. If I have to deal with 1 more "Batman and Joker are in love" even though JOKER SLAUGHTERED HIS CHILDREN ON MULTIPLE OCCASSIONS IMMA TWEAK. They are only in love in telltale and lego batman.

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON TALIA. First, not only do fans and writers mischaracterize her constantly, but her canon has been irreparably destroyed by Grant Morrison, he's the whole reason she's considered a "r*pist". Why can't we go back to when her and Bruce were lovers. Today, writers always try to make her seem as if she's some loyal servant to her father, when she's betrayed him countless times because of her love for Bruce. But yeah no, it's pretty much impossible to find actual comic book fans on social media. Like you'll have ones who delude themselves to be actual fans because they could name more than four Robins (who they found in WFA).
