Mental health really does matter, huh

I was in one of my classes and each of us had to sign up for one of nine different non-profit groups to assist. Two of them were mental health organizations and my professor's comment made me almost cry. 

"More students requested these two groups to help out of all nine organizations listed. I've been hosting this project for 12 years and back in 2012, this would not have been the case."

I know that's really simple, but it makes me happy to know people are less afraid to help those in a dark place. Don't be scared to reach out.
