OBJETIVE
Sometimes, I don’t manage my time well and end up skipping breakfast, or I just grab an apple. As a result, I often don’t have time to prepare lunch either, so I end up buying it. This routine not only feels stressful during the day but also costs me money that I could be saving. My goal is to improve my morning routine to ensure I start the day with a good meal and avoid unnecessary expenses.
REFLECTIVE
This habit concerns me deeply. When I skip breakfast, I notice I’m already feeling sleepy and low on energy by the time I get on the train for school. It creates a sense of anxiety, as if I forgot something important at home. If anything unpredictable happens, I feel unprepared and rushed, which could make me late for other plans.
"Studies have found that although people who skip breakfast eat slightly fewer calories during the day, they tend to have higher body mass index, or BMI," says Christy C. Tangney, PhD, a professor of clinical nutrition at Rush University. Through investigation, I’ve found that it's not just the mourning that affects this habit, but also the rest of the day and in future terms such as be more likely to be overweight, having less performance, consume more fat through the day, and I’m not talking just as not having enough nutrients or proteins, but also you get hungry faster so you take the first food you see in the street and that’s also bad for my health and my wallet.
Having a great morning routine involves even more tiny habits to compete, that’s why i’m interested, because If you start your day in a bad mood, you may have a mad quality day, I read that this little habits like getting up early to make some exercise, read and learn something new, write about the day it’s approaching and be grateful it's a great way to start your day with peace and happiness. I feel the need to say that reading all this information makes me conscious that it’s not that I don’t have time to make all the habits, but I just procrastinate and make excuses not to do it, I still have time to be with friends, myself and in the phone, this is just a little help to be organized and relief.
INTERPRETATION
Reflecting on my habit of skipping breakfast, I realize that it’s part of a bigger issue: I haven’t established a solid morning routine. Not having a structured start to my day leads to feeling rushed, stressed, and unprepared, which impacts my focus and mood. I can see how building a consistent morning routine could provide me with the stability I need, setting a positive tone for the day. And even more that I'm starting to be more independent and I'm still young, I have to start changing these habits for my future when I’ll be working and more stressed, so I wanted to take the opportunity now that I still have time. Actually, having a productive morning, I remember at least some days I prepared them, It does feel good and make my day even better, so there’s proof of myself that I can get a satisfactory result.
DECISION
There's this website called“notion so”that I found, where you can choose a personal or professional use and what you are focused on. For me I remarked on a habit tracker, a to do list, a meal planner and “getting started” options. This types of programs makes me manage my team easier and constantly since I’m not a type of person who is consistent by herself if I don’t know how to, recently I started ignoring my phone on mornings and nights, I’m feeling the difference and for good tho, I get extra sleep time and I wake up not too sleepy, I don’t watch my cellphone while I wait to get “energy”, I actually wash my face and that makes me more energetic, I get time to make my breakfast even tho I still need to make myself a weekly menu to eat better and make lunch too. That’s why this website fits me so well. I just need to choose my interests and what I want to do in the morning or in the day, for example read, write, dance, run, and how can I be able to do this while also having time for my cell phone and homeworks… I’ll keep track and make it a habit.
