Rant on psychology

The human brain is an interesting part of our lives, it is the reason we can do so many things without even knowing. But it is like a computer, it can be hacked and altered. I tend to study minds in my free time, whenever I see someone with an interesting personality I feel the need to examine them and see how they act to stimulating situations. Like talking to a friend or being in a room with like 80 different people, which personally I hate. But there is a downside to the studies of psychology, there are many people who don't have good intentions like I do. Instead of them using it like a tool to help understand people better, they use it like a weapon. Manipulation, gaslighting, trickery, they use it to break people's minds for their own benefit. Personally I don't have time for such measures. I'm not saying I'm better than them though, but if I am to pull a trick if the mind I make it easy to counter and stop when I see signs of discomfort. I wish we can use psychology for the better, not just for the FBI or for therapists. But for parents to help catch early signs of mental health issues in their children, or for teachers to help find the right ways to keep their students attentive to the subject. It's so sad how we normalized psychology being used to bring people down. Why can't there be more good in the world? Unfortunately, we will never have a proper answer. We always strive for a paradise when we die, but why not make HERE a paradise? Unfortunately we are only 1,000,000+ people in a world with about 8,000,000,000 people. It's going to take more than this. But it's not a bad thing to still be a kind soul, so when if life seems hopeless. YOU can be that hope, you never know the impact you make until you aren't there. So why not bring smiles to kind faces, and keep patience to those who aren't as friendly. I know this all sounds cheesy lol, I'm writing this before I go to class. 😅 But I hope this entry helps SOMEONE realize their potential.
