Hey I just wanted to create this blog post for a few things:
First: Long ago I had a Spacehey account. Little bit different this time around. When I first created an account, was very much a people pleaser. At one point felt like I wasn't even being my authentic self. Wanted the most friends and would comment on everyone's profile, it felt like a job. This time it's just a fun passion project for me to express myself and connect with others. If it turns into a toxic environment I will have no problem deleting.
Second: I am an ally in many communities, big into volunteering, non-profits and charities. I believe in supporting others, empowering females, anti bullying, or simply supporting smaller artists. I think life is beautiful; love all music, art and cultures. I believe in never judging others especially on a surface level, we are all equal. I want to leave a positive impact on the world and make others feel good about themselves so they can also grow and spread kindness. If anyone is struggling feel free to reach out This is a safe space.
(However due to a specific experience I believe in boundaries. I take mental health very seriously and protect my peace. Before anything I am: a mom, a wife, a daughter, pet owner, and a full time worker.)
Just remember this is a parasocial experience. I understand being online is an escapism for many. Don't forget to live in the present moment, we only get one life to live. Please take care of yourself, spread love, and be kind. ❤

Please be smart. I don't mean that in a condescending way. I just remember being 13 on myspace thinking it was so cool to talk with older men and receiving their attention. It's not. It's gross their are so many predators and disturbed people online. Please be aware and use your best judgment. Never give out your personal information. Use that block/report button if a creep is being inappropriate. Always tell a trusted adult if you feel uncomfortable.
