It’s the end of hope. The optimism millions of souls had, depleted in hours. Prior to those hours there was nothing but anguish and angst. The talk of purging, and couldn’t bearing the weight of the blanket of anxiety that filled the entire nation.Â
Though, what was comforting in all those hours of anxiety and potential doom, there were strangers from all over. Getting to know each other. Be there for one another. Calling each other sisters, becoming a welcoming family to all who seemed mental sanctuary.Â
In those glooming final hours, the time grew tense, the warm feeling of being there for one another turned into a collective vast space that everyone went to cry, to vent and let out some rage. It became quite dejecting, though I was crying my own tears in the distance right along too.Â
Evil walks this earth, we all know that much. To. Have it rule, to have it make decisions that put people at the doorsteps of Life and Death is unfathomable, unacceptable, so disappointing and most of all FRIGHTENING. We should feel safe on the land we call ‘home’, but its never stopped a colonizer before. We’re going to live in fear, and we have every reason to be. HE gave us a reason to be.Â
I don’t know what else to make of this dark night that fell upon us November 5th 2024, but it sure as hell wasn’t this. The hope, the light, love and unity… shattered, gone, dimmed on this very night and. This nation now wrecked with an unforgiving change.Â
