ive recently been on social media and i found a new style called scenecore. i know that scenecore are essentially posers to scene, but the truth is that EVERYONE is a poser. scene kids find scenecore people posers, emos find scene kids posers, and goths find emos posers. now the thing that bothers me is that scenecore people actually think they are scene or criticize scene kids. now i have no hate for scenecore people and it looks pretty cool to me but I hate it so much when someone comes up to me and says "omg are you scenecore?" like it really pisses me off for some reason. and i know this is similar to "omg are you emo?" when the person isnt emo at all, but scenecore people think its still scene which worsens the problem. i get this problem isnt very important but id like to hear other people's opinions on this.

tbh, i dont get it. i understand the difference between scene and scenecore in the MUSIC sense, but imo, it just seems like scene for a newer and younger generation, than scene mainly focusing on the old artists of the past, most scenecore music is made in more recent times. i see scenecore as the blood running through a scene kid, what keeps their heart beating and stuff, rather than whats shown on the outside. its made to express the HYPER energy of scene culture rather and be that as a whole
