November 4th is national candy day! So to celebrate, here's some fun(and not so fun)facts! (I guess i'll do this everyday now)


Cacao was initially a spicy drink that was a big hit among Aztec culture, however, modern day cultivation of Cacao beans is drenched in slave and child labor, but theres are quite a few companies that are ethical!


Caramel was invented by Arabian inventors, and it was initially a beauty product, and is still used in some products to this day!

In Japan, theres a candy where the wrapper is edible, and from I've heard, tasty as well!


Pez dispensers were initially used as a alternative to smoking!
