Hello, World! / Musical Theater

HELLO!!! Welcome to my blog, Rat King's Amazing Blog. In this blog, I will discuss my life being a mildly autistic teenager in this great wild world. I will also talk about my many niche interests, and many not-niche interests. 

Let's start with one: Musical Theater!!! Now, I know what you may be thinking: "Is this guy some kind of "Dear Evan Hansen" or "Be More Chill" or, god forbid, a Hamilton fan???"

All those musicals are fine and good, but do not worry, dear reader. I am sophisticated, and instead direct my attention to The Book of Mormon, Falsettos, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals, Something Rotten, and, you know, generally anything with Andrew Rannells in it.

Because of my interest in this topic, I very much would like to be in some sort of musical in the future. I want to explore my affinity for performing, and be relatively insane in front of others. 

I also love singing. It must activate some kind of dopamine release in my brain, because it just brings me so much joy. Also, I am a very good singer. Though, I do want to take singing lessons so I can have larger/better range.

I have plans to go to theater camp this summer, which will hopefully be lovely. 

I'd like to perform at school, but my school only puts on one musical per year, so I think it would be better to look into some local theater troupes instead. Plus, they are putting on Disney's Descendants: The Musical this year. and I dislike Descendants rather strongly. So I was never going to audition for that in the first place.
