We, the human species, have created such wondrous things. We've made things such as music, poetry, games, concepts. Yet, we've made things so horrendous. Nuclear weapons, physical torture, mental torture, etc.
It makes me wonder if we went wrong somewhere.
Though life is a great gift, it's ephemeral. All life ceases eventually and yet a large majority of it is being kept confined rather than being free to enjoy ourselves. Places such as school, work and prisons (though most prison sentences are deserved, however most cases for many minor crimes don't deserve a long sentence).
It makes me wonder if we went wrong somewhere.
Many species live in the wild, hunting, living, having a free life whereas we are bound by the chains of our society. It makes me wonder why it exists. Why can we not live in the fashion we please? As long as it's not highly illegal, I see no issue with it.
It makes me wonder if we went wrong somewhere.
Though society creates order, could we still not follow a lot of these rules through basic empathy? Many laws are just generally obvious things we should follow, such as not killing another, (except some governments if they have commit a serious crime such as murder/mass murder), it makes me wonder why and how some people lack basic fucking morals.
It seriously makes me wonder if we went wrong somewhere. Not even just if. How did we go wrong.
Thanks for listening, sorry.
