Art block? (photography)

As a first blog, after almost 3 years on this platform, I hope I will find someone with the same problem as me. I do photography as a passion that I hope will give me a career opportunity soon in the future.

I started with the fact that I loved to capture in photos the emotion and transparency of the people in the frame or the nature of simple things, but for a while I feel that is not worth it anymore.

I have the impression that most of the pictures I take are dead even with all the possible edits and effects. I also have the impression that what I need to do is to find my motivation again, but I don't know how? Maybe school is to blame or the fact that I have to change my surroundings from time to time.

I don't know if this thing sounds like art block or sum, but I don't want to give up now after years of giving my time, tears and nerves to this. Also, I ordered a new 17-300 lens, and it wasn't cheap(even if it's sh), so giving up rn will leave a hole in my wallet.
