Niccy's Song Of The Day #6: Stash by Phish

Today we've got the song that introduced me to Phish, Stash by Phish. Before I say anything, I just gotta mention how fuckin' good the piano is all throughout this track. Absolutely fucking amazing.

There's a lot to love here but, for me, the song truly becomes iconic starting at the 4 minute mark. Something about the nonsensical lyrics just really appeals to me, especially this part:

"Control for smiler's can't be bought

The solar garlic starts to rot

Was it for this my life I sought?

Maybe so and maybe not..."

It's hard to put into words how the lyrics make me feel but just know that they profoundly changed me as a person. I honestly wish i had more to say but I think the song speaks for itself.
