Hello, pls respond. I've been wanting a cd player. I feel like cd players aren't supposed to be more than $30-$40 , so pls recommend me cheap ones.
Im not against thrifting, but I won't use Facebook marketplace for the life of me(lol) please give me recs!!

A good CD player is going to cost you a bit.
I use a homelab CD player (specifically made for cars but is great for most things including PC and TV)
It's $114 but very much worth it as the audio quality and skip protection is great
Most good CD players are gonna be $60+
Also to add. I have thrifted CD players most are cheap crap from the 2000s
But i did find a sony boom box from the 80s for $12 that was broken. I highly reccomend looking for broken ones as they'll be cheaper to fix than buy in working condition, and you can get good quality or vintage pieces for cheap that way
