Hello everyone, this is my first blog...like ever. I've never done this before, so if I'm rusty, just give me some grace. Anyway, it's officially November again (AMEN).
It's finally cold outside in SoCal, and I can't stop myself from wishing we had some snow. I've only really ever experienced it three times in my life and in one freak incident at the top of a hill that I'll semi-count. Nonetheless, I can't help but wish it was a more regular thing. To the folks out there that have snow, let me know if you think it's a nuisance and I'll retract my wish from the genie currently in the lamp beside me.
Just last night I watched a few flicks with my boyfriend (Creep 2 and Where the Wild Things Are). Two movies that couldn't be any more different but still so frickin awesome. One fun fact about this amazing guy, he doesn't watch movies. Like...not a whole lot of them at all.
I feel like a total film geek when there's a movie I want to see and beg him to watch it with me ( disclaimer: it doesn't take a lot of stamina he almost always obliges.) But this time, I hadn't seen Where the Wild Things Are. Which, if I may, is such a beautiful film.
I could talk all day about how awesome the practicality of it is but you all would... definitely hate me.
I just kinda thought to myself about what type of goblins he and I would be if we ever were magically turned into them. Would we hop around like headless rabbits? Would we do a jig? Idk. I really don't have an answer to that.
Anyway, super cool flick I'd totally watch again. Maybe I'd pair it with Perks of Being a Wallflower, they both kinda deal with change in a similar way. Btw, as I'm writing this I reeeeaaaaallllllly want hot chocolate.
(Like Bi, go get some. I can't I'm bankrupt, idiot.)
Anyway, guys, try have a cool dance party with yourself at least once today. And remember, uhhhh stay cool I suppose and get cool if you aren't even though "coolness" is subjective and shit yadaydadyada
