"How can the new generations be passionate about cars,
if they are demonized by green fanatics at all costs?
New cars are advertised by placing all the attention on infotainment
and no longer talking about engines and mechanics.
To then arrive at the total madness of imposing electric cars,
which only appeal to those who have known nothing else.
The total failure of the industry as we know it is just the beginning.
But go ahead and praise your 'blenders' and demonize combustion-engined cars regardless.
Then, please, cry if a historic company closes.
Consistency first."
-comment by Fabio Z. on the risk of bankruptcy of Recaro and BBS
Welcome back to my personal car themed blog, I'm the writer of the blogĀ "Project TiredGas Drift".
What you just read is a comment that resonated deeply, exposing the automotive industry's decline with passion. Car enthusiasts worldwide hope these messages reach industry leaders, as they fear for their passion's future. We crave passionate presentations about new cars, not just electronics and ābig tabletsā. The competition between manufacturers seems lost, with new cars lacking individuality in design, engines, and features.
This issue is exacerbated by automotive conglomerates. For instance, Alfa Romeo, once known for unique street sports cars, now under Stellantis, primarily produces SUVs. The latest model, Junior, is particularly disappointing, with only the Giulia remaining as a true sports car.
While this may seem like an uninformed rant, it reflects the genuine concerns coming from the hearts of all us car enthusiasts based on observable trends in the industry.
Back to us, sorry for my absence for 5 months but there were technical problems :)
last time I told you I would go to the Rally del Salento, and in fact I went, only thatā¦ since 5 months have passed I don't remember very well.
However, I remember that my best friend and I went to see the special stage in Torre Paduli; being a local rally obviously the cars were not āsuper rally carsā, they were mostly Skoda Fabia, Citroen and other "road" cars. I would have also liked to see the historic rally and the Salento Historic Regularity Rally, which I had mentioned in the magazine of the last blog release, only that due to timing I was unable to go there. Now I'll leave you to enjoy the content I made and found.

Anyway, I turned 18! which means I can take the driving license exams. I started with the theory shortly after my birthday, and a few days ago I finished this first step with the theory exam which I passed... let's say that anxiety led me to think that I wouldn't be able to pass the theory exam, but instead it was bullshit. Now I have to start the second step, that is, the driving and the practical exam. I think that in a month and a half I will be able to get my license and start this new chapter.
As for the car, I think that for now I will have to settle for my mother's Clio...
I will keep you updated.
I want to conclude this post by returning to the previous discussion with this instagram story by @anti_automatic
