Old net maybe...?

Odd thing I've been going through, a lack of interest in the new and a bizarre craving for the old- it's slowly been eating away at my life and now I feel overwhelmed by the modern trends, Games, fashion, Socials, etc. 
Not buying games that are releasing in months rather scooping Mercari, E-bay, Amazon, and other sites for old DS and gameboy Advance games at "fair" prices because, their more appealing and have tons more content. Slowly drifting away from my Modern Laptop and slowly converting to the newly installed Linux mint laptop that's running off 2009-2010 hardware. Kind of growing tired of my Smartphone and desperately trying to figure out a work around in order to use a Japanese flip phone in the U.S. because, it lacks... I don't know... Access?
I'm wondering if I'm just reverting to "Old net" habits because it's comfortable to me and I can't keep up with how fast trends are changing anymore. Maybe I should birth a new Aesthetic? Like old net pulling from everything considered in the past and rejecting the Modern improvements or new trends of the internet? 
No I think I'm just going insane with nostalgia- as long as I'm not hurting anyone I'll continue to live like the past but as I am. Jam out to P!nk, Avril lavegine, Black veil brides, Midicronica,The pillows, etc. on my Zen- carry my DS in a satchel with an earphone case to carry DS cartridges as I head outside for the day, and reject the idea of cars while learning to rollerblade since I prefer sidewalks over roads.
