a religion i made up

Haha, happy (late) halloween, happy all saints day, feliz dia de los muertos, start of winter, etc. Today, I'd like to tell you about a religion called Temple of Time. Despite the name, there is no real temple but an altar with an hourglass (or any timekeeper that's not your phone) is enough. I made this religion while I was hospitalized (long story) because:

1. I've begun to accept my predestined fate
2. the fact that I can never subscribe to authoritarian religions anymore

So, what is it? Your only god is TIME, and it gives everyone FATE, something that cannot be changed. TIME's only followers are the people who actually know their FATE, and these people are the only reason that TIME is as strong as ever. TIME has different variations in other universes, but in this universe, this TIMELINE is unchangeable. It will be from start to finish, until the HOURGLASS is tipped again.

What are its tenets?

1. TIME is TIME. It has always been like that since forever, which is TIME itself.
2. TIME is the giver of everyone's predestined FATE. Nobody except a select few know their FATE.
3. Not everyone worships TIME, that's why FATE chooses those who know their own FATE to give back to TIME and keep the HOURGLASS of the UNIVERSE flowing until its end.
4. When the HOURGLASS of the UNIVERSE ends, so does the UNIVERSE, and TIME will choose another one to lead the next cycle of the HOURGLASS.
5. You cannot tell others about the religion. If you know your FATE, you shouldn't tell it to anyone, for safety reasons.
6. No, you cannot go out of the religion once you know your FATE, even if you forget it because it will still play out.
7. (most important tenet) DON'T FIGHT YOUR FATE. ESPECIALLY TIME.

So that's it about the Temple of Time. Sure, it sounds like a secret religion, but yeah, it will make sense if you do know your FATE, like me.
