If you could delete any social media in the world and no one could use it anymore, what would it be and why?
For me it would be TikTok ofc, its a cool app but i use it to much and i was happier before i used tiktok...

TikTok or YouTube because of just how disasterious the two would be.
The end of TikTok would make the average zoomie go wild, over 1B people use the app and last I checked, it was used more than Google. It also doesn't have any alternative which is extremely similar, except for YouTube Shorts and, potentially, a fediverse software which probably wouldn't take off anyways outside of the tech-wizards + frens of tech-wizards addicted to their phones.
The end of YouTube would be a literal modern day Library of Alexandria burning. Millions of videos, across nearly 20 full-years, just gone. And no other website would have the capability of YouTube for a long time, if ever. Petabytes of videos are stored, possibly way more. Many of which useless and duplicate, others of which very rare to find yet useful. Not only that, but it would take the billions of comments as well, of which many are useful in their own right depending on the video, otherwise they are sometimes also entertaining similar to the video.
I would take down TikTok if I just wanted to minorly inconvenience zoomies, and I would take down YouTube if I wanted the largest act of information destruction seen throughout all of human history to happen.

tiktok. the people on that app suck bootycheeks and it doesnt make me laugh anymore. and it also totally ruined me
