General Life Update: October 2024

Been seriously working to decentralize my life. Finally took the big step into getting a "dumb phone" 

I got a Nokia flip phone, it has GPS and can access the internet but it definitely isn't good at it lol. I still have my smart phone for my works clock in app and snapchat while I have internet, but ultimately, I wanna get to a point where I am no longer enjoying the things I have in life. 

Similarly, I got a refurbished iPod Nano 3rd gen (same one I had in middle/high school) and I absolutely adore it. It is perfect. You dont realize just how little music you listen to on the daily until you go to load up an 8gb device and see the stats. I have a little over 300 songs and I hardly listen to half.

Right now I am at work using my laptop to post this, and yea. Having to lug around extra shit can suck but I wanna embrace that. I wanna re-embrace single purpose things.
