Rocky Horror Picture Show

My week is fucky-wucky so I'm going to ignore all the bad and write abt how great of a time I had last night <3

I met up with a new friend I'd been texting for a while, she was super chill but also OMG TALL!!! I need to wear heels next time lol. I had to keep looking up at her. All her pictures were taken like top-down so I was expecting her to be my height or shorter. We were also wearing the same perfume we found out, so that was cool!!!

It was just a screening of the movie, nothing live, but it was for free through my college, so we still got prop bags and did all the call backs, and the time warp and all that. and we got free pizza!!!!

I had seen the movie before but it was kinda cool to hear people explain the movie. My understanding of it was always just "it's camp, let loose, have fun, there's nothing to understand" but I think being stone cold sober, with no distractions, meant I paid more attention. There actually is some semblance of a plot in there, and it was cool to hear them explain it.

It was also cool to learn some of the prop stuff. Like I didn't know you were supposed to "shine a light" during that song. I actually didn't remember that song at all, or most of the beginning of the movie past the first song - maybe acting along helped me understand the movie too. They also did the time warp just sliiiiightly differently from what I expected, but I still had fun!!

We just walked around the campus for a bit after that, walked down some dead-ends but it was all good. I still can't get over the perfume lol

If you haven't seen the movie, or seen it live, def do it!!! And see it live before the movie, if you can. It's probably a bit late for that for most people, but if you can!!!!! do it!!!!!!!
