Tiktok has condensed these subcultures down to fashion when they are SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. Subcultures are a lot deeper than buying some "y2k grunge emo fairycore goth" jeans off of shein ... I don't even label myself anymore bcs labels are almost useless these days- also I listen to so many different kinds of music and live a certain way that doesn't fit isn't any cohesive label </3 

It makes me want to rip my hair out when people say that they buy from Shein bcs of the prices when you can buy better quality clothes for less from Vinted/ charity shops ... I literally bought a couple pairs of baggy jeans from vinted that cost the same amount if you bought ONE pair from Shein for worse quality ..

IT'S AS SIMPLE AS LOOKING FOR JEANS IN A FEW SIZES TOO BIG FOR YOU... PUT THE TIKTOK SHOP DOOWWWNNNN BROOO.... I do understand that charity shops in certain areas may be more expensive but like ... charity shops aren't the only way !! What abt facebook marketplace .. or yard sales.. cmon guys lets get creative
