halloween kinda sucks nowadays

okay so, i used to have a lot of Halloween parties i could go to, but there's like, nothing nowadays?? at my local library, we thought there was gonna be something for the teens, but unless it's tomorrow, it was family night so there was barely anyone in costume and it was mostly three-year-olds.

worst part is? my brother and i looked lit!! i dressed as chucky, and i did the whole shebang. floofed up my hair, did makeup scars with blood and the like, grabbed a fake knife, and everything! my brother borrowed a coat of mine and my top hat, got a cool mask, and dressed as the phantom of the opera.

we stood and greeted people at the door, and i scared eight children. there was a science show where everyone got sprayed with a proton pack, and that was pretty lit, but it was mostly for two to seven-year-olds.

anyone else have experiences like this??
