schoolio!

So... who told us school was the way to go??? Well, I guess back in the day it all made sense because a degree was like 25 cents and you could feed a family of four off of a JcPenny salary. But they silently moved the goalpost without letting anyone know!! "Go to school, shoot for 100k a year, start a family, own a home"... like bih how!!!  I feel like school has been my "personality" for the past two years, but nursing school has made it hard to do anything else! Omggg don't get me started on nursing school toxicity alone, I can write a whole article on nursing school and the relation of the popular saying "mean girls are nurses" . Anyway, I can see why people say school is a scam, not the education itself of course. But it's crazy to get a whole ahh masters degree and getting offered like $20???? id slap the sh!t out of someone if they offered that are u kidding me??
