snow strippers concert

hai 2 nobody my name is roxas! :3

I WENT TO A SNOW STRIPPERS CONCERT!!! I WAS SO FUCKING EXCITED OH MY GODDD i literally love snow strippers from the bottom of my heart like there's something about their music that just resonates so deeply in me more than any other artist. the feeling i get listening to their music is the closest thing i can get to drugs without actually doing drugs. seeing them live was a fucking experience i will never forget.

my dad and i got a hotel and drove 3 hours to jacksonville, it was a big deal! when we got there, i was soooo excited!!! there were people outside selling their own custom-made merch, i REALLY wanted it but i had no money (i spent it all on tickets :p) so i asked my dad and he said no because he didn't like the inappropriate design :( once we actually got inside the venue i saw official merch being sold so i wanted to get that first, i didn't want anything to get sold out before i could grab it. i was able to get the twerk team shirt, i wanted a CD but my dad is kinda cheap and i was grateful i was even able to buy anything at all lol. my dad is big, so he was talking about how he's gonna get me to the front of the crowd. he hesitates to push through people, as he's the biggest and most noticeable one there, so i get impatient and lead the way. as i was pushing through people, they complained loudly as my dad followed. they made jokes calling him "unc" and talking about how he took up the space of 4 people. before we entered the crowd, my dad told me to meet him by the pinball machine if i need him, so i told my dad to go to the pinball machine. after he left, everyone around me was laughing and expressing relief, it made me feel sooo embarrassed... we waited about an hour and 30 minutes after the posted time, i remember people were getting impatient. one thing i noticed was how damn small the stage was. it was TINY. literally the size of a square, in a tiny corner of a small bar. people were spaced out throughout the venue but obviously everybody wanted to be in front of the stage. they really needed a bigger stage.

suzy sheer gets on first. this was my first time even hearing of this person, and he was pretty cool! my dad thought he was good. at first we couldn't find anything about him online, but after doing some digging through snow strippers instagram i found him. i thought that was odd, he deserves more recognition. however, immediately once he starts performing the crowd is going CRAZY. i have been to raves and concerts before, ones where we are shoulder to shoulder, but i have never experienced anything like that. they were purposefully pushing people to the sides, being rough, and it wasn't even in rhythm to the music at all. i understand sometimes people can get a little too energetic and lost in the moment, so i push back. after a while it got so bad that i could barely push back and i decided okay this is too much for me. as im looking around for a way out, there's a tiny little circle of space with two dudes in the middle yelling at each other, and people flashing their phones on them. this REALLY pissed me off it was like a snapping point so i deadass just ran through the middle of that gap and pushed people aside as hard as i could. as i was leaving one of the dudes who was yelling was in front of me leaving as well and i shouted out "this is not a punk show!" and he turned around and looked at me O_O i literally thought he was gonna punch me bc he had alcohol in his hand and looked mad LMFAO but ofc he just turned around and left, doing nothing. i found my dad standing by the bathroom, he felt so cool because he and graham were twinning. they both had on black backwards hats, eyeglasses, silver chain, black t-shirt, and jeans. people kept asking if my dad was security, and that made him all giddy. i danced around for a bit but MAN that shits tiring! (i was talking to a friend and apparently drugs can help thissss?) after a few minutes i went to the back were the merch stand was, there was a platform i could stand on so i could get a good look at tati and graham. it was a really good view! although, it was the farthest view. i was holding onto the table as i danced so i couldn't fall off hahahaha i noticed the person who sold merch was sitting there on their phone like i would at my job... do u not realize u are in the same room as snow strippers right now!?!?

i remember my dad being really adamant about getting their autograph, i didnt think they would interact with fans so i told him goodluck and thats on him. he forgot to bring a pen, and maybe if he had brought it he would've made me stay... idk... but anyways... as soon as the concert was over we left... usually at concerts people jam pack the exit and it gets super crowded and chaotic. we were by the entrance already so i told him let's leave. the next day i see photos of snow strippers with the dude who was selling merch, and they were hanging out with all the people i recognized from the crowd (i was in the second row).

this pissed me off SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! T_T I WANTED TO CRY!!! I HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET THEM AND I BLEW IT...bro... i am so upset because i know they are gonna blow up. i can feel it in my balls. they are so good... WHICH IS LIKE YES! GREAT! BLOW UP! GET THAT RECOGNITION!...AFTER I MEET YOU XD i want it to actually be somewhat realistic for me to meet my idols!!!

i hope to make posts about their music soon.........................
