little sister

At what age do you start liking your little sister? I'm 16, and my little sister is 7. There is no reason why we should have a 9 yr age gap. I hate little kids, especially ones I didn't raise. If I raised my little sister, you best believe she wouldn't be an iPad kid constantly asking if I want to play Roblox or welcome herself into my room and start playing her loud videos or talking 24/7 just because she wants to hear herself talk. Actually, the other day, my stepdad picked her up from school, and she got mad at him and had an attitude because he picked her up earlier than usual, and she wanted to play with her friends. Her friend told her she shouldn't have an attitude with her dad cause she's gonna get in trouble, and she told her friend to shut up. Guess what my stepdad did?? Girl, absolutely nothing...Then my mom had the nerve to say that the only reason he didn't say anything was cause he's a tall black man, and someone would call the cops if he started yelling at his kid. GIRL STAND UP OML. He literally could've just waited until he got to the car to yell at her, but he still did nothing?? Literally, how is he letting his 7 yr old daughter walk all over him hello?? At some point, gentle parenting needs to come to a screeching halt, and you actually need to discipline your kids cause I guarantee you if this happened again, he would act all shocked as if he didn't enable it the first time. It's not like he's a bad dad, but sometimes I just have to step back and wonder why he does what he does. I understand why he gave his child an iPad cause he thought it'll keep her busy and entertained while he's working. Still, even after he learned about the effects of an iPad being more of a parent to his kid than him, he still let his child be on Roblox, the TV, and her iPad all day. She literally plays on his work phone when they're out too, so there's not a moment where she's just looking out the window without a screen in her face. He'll realize the effects when she's acting just like the people she sees online.
