my first cold since like forever ago

2 nites ago before bed i drank a whole jug of plain water w tons of ice cubes, N LIKE the very NEXT morning when my eyes were creeping up to open, sunrays kissing my forehead through the blinds typa stuff, i felt my THROAT being sore n dry afff, of course i remained cool (not for long lit), i stayed calm, i maintained my composure n sike, no i immediately freaked tf out bcs i know what a sore throat during a beautiful monday morning means. so fast forward a few days later to today and im having a fever, my eyes are hot and heavy, i lose my appetite for the most part, and i'm craving a big bowl of fruit salad (watermelon, strawberries, WHITE dragon fruit, and a pear for crunch) and to wash it a down a can of sprite zero, sometimes its astounding how even the most common of all colds can change my perspective in such a limited time, it's like what tony soprano said "in that moment i knew i wanted to live". all i wanna do is sleep but i cant even do that bcs my nose is stuffed and i cant breath and breathing through my mouth hurts my throat, but all of these obbys sorta rejuvenated my passion for living, i feel like i could climb everest even if it were submerged below the mariana trench, btw talking about the trench it reminded me of this video on the deep sea abt giant squids and how they were a creature of myth before some fishing boat accidentally fished one of them out of the water it's just sobering seeing such a majestic near magical animal brought down to our level, even if it originally was born n living hundreds of feet below the sea water level, it's like when those scientists n fishmens take out the blobfish from its natural habitat of like hundreds of feet below the shallow seas and it looks all stupid n blobby when its exposed to our lesser dense atmosphere, you just know that it's in so much pain, just imagine if those animals are able to comprehend the concept of a heaven n hell, they would be thinking they're in hell, the thing was probably pescatarian and it never ate any sea algae or weeeds and thought it was a fish sin and so that's why it ended up in some marine biologists lab in wisconsin. people are cruel.
