i finally finished tomb raider: anniversary, wow. ive had this game since april and i bought it because i wanted to finish the games i couldnt when i was little (like 6).
this game was difficult, there is NO WAY 6 yr old me couldve completed it, even now i had to use a guide for quite a bit of levels.
this game felt like it was never ending: so many detailed, confusing levels, and so much of it. steam says ive spent an entire 24hrs playing it.
anyway, the ending was quite satisfactory and there were tons of explosions and aspirational music.

sometimes, i wonder how some of these infrastructures come to be in such landmarks that appear small.
now, im planning to play "tomb raider (2013)" or "tomb raider: legend," and im waiting for the next trilogy of retro tomb raider remakes to come out on valentine's day. guess i dont need anyone to keep my hands busy lol.
it's got the remake of tomb raider: angel of darkness from 2003, the last tomb raider game made by crystal dynamics that flopped so badly, that eidos had to take over the series. im actually SO HYPED to play it! and it not be a buggy mess! its also got tomb raider chronicles (which is secret agent type shi which i like) and tomb raider the last revelation, which is apparently very complicated so wish me luck).
the only thing im not happy about in the angel of darkness remake, is the way they changed lara's face to match the previous tomb raider games. LOOK:

cant tell if shes fitter but they definitely took that edge off her. she looks like more of a model now than a rebel. they really gave her makeup removing wipes. atleast her hair doesn't look as greasy.
i dunno why, im not convinced to buy the first trilogy remake. but, tomb raider angel of darkness is such an interesting game so im buying the second trilogy for sure. when i was little, i used to play the song "angel of darkness" all the time, a song was based off that game lul 😭
at some point, i made a spacehey layout based on the aesthetic of that game.
